Each year, more than 500 youth from youth organizations around Dane County, like 4-H, FFA, Girl Scouts, etc., participate at the Dane County Fair by exhibiting over 5,000 projects. Project areas include communications, art, photography, foods, computers, woodworking, STEM, clothing, music, livestock showing, and much more. Our generous sponsors and donors provide these youth the opportunity to display their hard work and help to ensure the success of the Fair. Without their support, the Fair would not be able to be the continued staple youth event in Dane County.
The Dane County Fair is raising money to credit the substantial loss inherited due to COVID-19 in 2020 and enhance the Fair opportunities for the Dane County community for years to come. The money raised will benefit Dane County youth and the community who attend the Fair by having the opportunity for the Fair to bring more popular nation-wide entertainment and activities to our daily and nightly lineup and extend more admission discounts to youth groups within the community. Our organization is committed to lifelong learning and growth while valuing traditions and blending rural and urban communities together in one central location. These donations will also help the Dane County Fair to continue its legacy within the community as a staple annual festival in Dane County.
Every contribution to the Dane County Fair makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. During this time of uncertainty, we know that the future feels fragile. The Dane County Fair feels this stress as well, and we are focusing our efforts on securing the future of the Fair for years to come for our youth and the Dane County community. If you are able and interested in supporting the Dane County Fair, please consider viewing our options below to ensure the continuation of our beloved Fair.
