All outdoor concerts and entertainment are FREE with fair admission! Stage shows, youth exhibits, special attractions, and daily strolling acts are only some of the entertainment you'll find at the fair!

The Flying Wallendas

See the breathtaking stunts of the daring Flying Wallenda Family! Even after seven generations, this trapeze act continues to break records with their high wire act – with no safety net! Most notable is their 3-level, 4-person pyramid that originally brought the Wallendas to the United States in 1928. Over the years they have been a part of Ringling Brothers Circus, Barnum & Bailey Circus and numerous other traveling events. On 2001, the Wallendas accomplished a trick never even attempted. For the cameras of Fox TV's Guinness Records Primetime, the Wallendas assembled an 8-Person, 3-Level Pyramid. To secure their record, they added two more family members to form the first and only 10-Person Pyramid. Prepare to be amazed by the Flying Wallendas at the Dane County Fair with three shows daily.

BMX Pros Trick Team

It's entertainment for people of all ages! Watch as the team warms up with amazing choreographed stunts, both in the air and on the ground. The performers begin to reach the sky off the huge ramps and keeps the audience yelling for more! When the team readies for the grand finale, the younger spectators are reminded about the importance of safety gear and that the riders are trained professionals.  The show comes to a climax when the riders spin 360 degree turns in mid-air and finish with gravity defying back flips. The BMX PROS Trick Team is a must see to believe event!

Ron Diamond Hypnotist

After spending eight years as a performer and show designer with Walt Disney Productions and receiving degrees in Psychology and Sociology from TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, master magician, illusionist and hypnotist Ron Diamond decided it was time to put together the ultimate shows of his dreams for himself. A master at all levels of magic and hypnosis, Ron will intrigue you with his superb sense of timing and humor. Ron is also an expert at the magic of the mind. With an advanced certification and a practice in Hypnotherapy, he brings his expertise in this field as well to his shows so that each and every program promises something different. Every day Ron appears at a fair is an entirely different show! Ron performs his magic extravaganza, “Vegas on the Road,” his mentalism and slight of hand show, “Before Your Very Eyes,” and his hypnosis show, “Mysteries of the Mind”.

Street Magic Live with Robert Smith

Prepare to have the tables turned as audience members become the real magicians and glass bottles impossibly vanish from sight. Then laugh out loud as Robert shares one of the most baffling effects in magic, the cups and balls. A routine where nothing is ever what it seems. Families will laugh, smile and have a fantastic time during this adventure known as Street Magic LIVE!

Gymfinity Gymnastics 

Gymfinity Gymnastics and Children’s Activity Center will be presenting the “World’s Most Funnest” inflatable play course. Gymfinity is the county leader in children’s activities from gymnastics, tumbling and fitness to parties, camps and field trips. The “BIG Poppa” from Gymfinity’s GymCRAZIum is 52 feet of tunnels, climbers and slides for kids 3 to 13. Offered FREE of charge, stop by and see the fine folks from Gymfinity, get information on classes, camps or birthday parties and let your kids play on the BIG Poppa!

Kiddie Farm 

It’s your chance to see the cutest baby animals around up close and learn a little about agriculture, too. This interactive area allows for people of all ages to meet, touch and see farm animals! Staff is on hand to ensure safety and to answer all your questions about our fuzzy friends. The Kiddie Farm is located in Hall A of the Exhibition Hall. It is organized by Dane County Agriculture Teachers Association and staffed by FFA members from around Dane County.

Youth & Community Stage

Drama, fashion, photography, animal care, musical entertainment, and clever "How To…" presentations are just a few of the many talents to be demonstrated on the Dane County Fair Youth Stage. Also see shows by community groups and other local talent. The Youth & Community Stage is sponsored by the Dane County Farm Bureau.
