Guitar Hero Competition New to Dane County Fair

Have you ever wanted to be a rockstar? Do you have what takes to bring classic rock songs to life? If so, be part of the newest competition at the Dane County Fair, Guitar Hero 3. Be on hand Saturday, July 19th for the inaugural Guitar Hero Competition starting at 4 p.m. Open to all ages, the competition will pit contestants against each other playing classic rock rifts.

Sixteen contestants will be selected to compete in the single elimination contest. First place is awarded $500 cash and second place receives $250 cash. The event is sponsored by 93.1 The Lake and the Dane County Fair.

To enter the contest, visit www.danecountyfair.com and look for details at the bottom of the page. Entry deadline is July 12 at noon. Participants selected for the contest will be notified via email with further details.  

Contestants under 18 years of age must have a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
